1960 Volkswagen Dune Buggy Convertible Purple RWD Manual pink
This 1960 Volkswagen Dune Buggy is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for car shows.
She is Pink! A couple of the gauges on dash are just for looks. And speedometer isn’t very accurate!
The engine has been overhauled with new carburetor gaskets, new fuel pump, oil filter and alternator. So exact mileage is unpredictable. However, only driving it occasionally the past 6 years, It probably doesn’t have more than 3000 thousand miles on it. It’s a 16cc vw motor.
Marine stereo with USB and auxiliary ports to play your favorite music.2 marine speakers in the front and one regular speaker in the back.
Custom paint job and custom pin stripes. Custom interior and bikini top, that I upholstered myself. Even the cup holder.
New brake and gas lines. New tires and moon eyes hub’s. Keep in mind that it’s only a 2 seat buggy. The back seat is just for lightweight carrying of a couple of folding chairs and little table. No frame under for other passengers.
It’s road ready with turn signals, emergency breaks, mirrors, horn and wind shield wipes (that need to be adjusted). This is a classic 1960 Sandpiper Dune Buggy body. And registered as an Antique here in Virginia. Clean Title. So in my state it’s not required to be inspected!
Exterior
Moon eyes Hub’s, custom paint and pin stripes as well as eye lashes compliment the cutest overload of this street legal little Buggy!
Interior
I have custom made all of the interior including the Bikini top and cup holders! My husband modified 2 Ford escort seats to fit the Buggy as I decided to create side panels! I gave it the Girlie Rat Rod look. And plenty of custom compartments for purses and stuff!
