One Owner 1958 Lincoln Continental Mark III Convertible: Rare and Original Find and the Ideal Restoration Candidate
This exciting Lincoln Continental Mark III Convertible represents one of only 3,048 convertibles produced in 1958 and is a one owner car from new. Desirable Pink “Autumn Rose” with black interior. A wonderfully original example that’s been off the road and in storage for many years. Not currently running and in need of straightforward restoration. An honest and complete car. The 1958 Mark III would be the largest unibody car ever constructed in automotive history using a 131 wheelbase, and the longest American-built convertible for mass consumption. It would also have a tilted rear breezeway window on all models, including the convertible, that could be retracted for a true open car feel even with the top up. Powering this massive convertible is its original 430ci V8 producing 375 horsepower mated to the 3-speed Turbo-Drive automatic transmission. A rare opportunity and a superb investment for any Lincoln collector.
